2008-05-20 7:11 PM The smallest thought Life can be pretty awesome to you.
It was very interesting because at first my mom was like "Well you don't have to get a summer job" and I was like "Ok". But then I thought of last summer when I actually wasn't in summer school and being bored out of my brains. And I thought of this past year when I've had a pay check.....and my future plans to go to NYC. Yeah, I want a summer job. I was like "I'll work at the BK(Burger King) for all I care!"....not really. I was just about to apply to some jobs even though in the back of my mind I was kind of leaning toward the library. But libraries are usually poorly funded so I figured it wouldn't be a possibility, didn't even consider it in reality. Then when I get home today I check gmail and have a message from Kay, the librarian that I interned with this past j-term. She offered me a paid job! I read it and was like "Sweet!" and then did my goofy-really-excited-hobbly-squee-girly run out to the kitchen to tell my mom. It's just interesting what the smallest thought can sometimes lead to. I'm happy. :-) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
