It's so much fun

It's so much fun being married to a lobsterman. Let me tell you.

Hubby left at 9:45 a.m. to drive to New Bedford where he was to pick up his lobster trap kits (he builds them himself). He only makes that trip once a year, and it's not a fun trip due to increasing traffic, and it's usually winter when he has to make it. So today was the day because he couldn't get out fishing - crappy weather.

It's not really dark or raining or snowing, but very very windy.

Here it is 2:45 p.m. and I have not heard a peep from him. I almost didn't remember what the name of the company was he was going to see, but I went online, and thank the Lord for Google, and found it and called them. Oh the woman there was very nice and she said he only left about 30 to 45 minutes ago to come back home.

I'm not sure how many miles this is but we are 20 miles north of Boston, and I'd guess New Bedford is at least that and probably more south of Boston, down on the southern coastal section of the state.

Six Hours?

I've been wracked with worry for the last two hours.

But the woman at the lobster trap place said he was sitting in the office nattering on about this and that, and he had some other stuff to buy, and that he should be along before too long.

Grrr.

I just worry way too much, I guess.

I worry when he is out lobstering and a storm comes up and there is lightening etc., and he just stays out there fishing.

I just want him home.

Bex
