All Here & Accounted For

Like a lot of bloggers/journallers out there lately, I am at a loss for ideas and words. This is a holiday week here in the U.S. and I see lots of scurrying around to get things done. Not for me, though. My life never changes. Except we have a leak in a water pipe somewhere in the house, we think it is related to our kitchen faucet which has been leaking for a while. I patched it with black electrical tape in two spots but I think the leak is deep in the guts of the faucet or else farther down in the cold water pipe.

I've made contact with a plumber who says he MAY be able to squeeze us in sometime this week, but he is off on Thursday and Friday and of course Saturday and Sunday, so if he doesn't get here by end of business tomorrow, we'll be waiting til next week.

It always seems that something breaks around Thanksgiving.

We had our first dusting of snow overnight here. I thought about taking a photo of it but decided against it. It's all melted now. My camera has a hard time holding charge in the 4 batteries in it. I'm ready to give up on it. I have a little 4-battery charger thing that plugs into the wall and I've been recharging the batteries (I have 8 in total) but after taking a few photos, I get the notice on the little screen saying my batteries are "exhausted".

I am getting too old to fiddle with gadgets.

I did take a couple of photos the other night of the rest of the gang here during show time after supper... worth 1,000 words...

That's all I've got.

Cheers,

Bex & Co.

It's in every one of us to be wise;
Find your heart, open up both your eyes.
We can all know every thing without ever knowing why.
It's in every one of us, by and bye.
