Small Town Crime Wave

The complete Police Notes for the Town of Marblehead for December 15, 2015, from The Salem News:

1. A caller told police at 10:32 a.m. there was a refrigerator in the driveway of a home on Ocean Avenue with its doors intact and a sign saying "free."

2. A child from a home on Harbor Avenue called 911 to "find out how 911 works" and said his dad was working out in the garage.

3. A caller reported finding a Santa Claus suit - sans Santa - in the middle of the road on Lafayette and Maple Streets.

4. A Christmas wreath was reported missing from the front door of a store on Atlantic Avenue.

I know it's been a wild and crazy crime spree there in Marblehead, but Marblehead's Finest have it well under control, so have no fear... you can still get all your holiday shopping done over there with little worry.

Cheers,

Bex

I think I could turn and live awhile with the animals...
They are so placid and self-contained,
I stand and look at them sometimes half the day long.

They do not sweat and whine about their condition,
They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins,
They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God,
Not one is dissatisfied... not one is demented with the mania of owning things,
Not one kneels to another nor to his kind that lived thousands of years ago,
Not one is respectable or industrious over the whole earth.
