2006-04-06 8:33 AM The cake incident I made a cake for one of our students whose 20th birthday was not going so well. It was a chocolate cake with white, cream cheese icing.
She and two other girls came over late on Tuesday night to eat it, and when we were done I wrapped the container with foil and left it on the dining room table. Yesterday, I leave for a meeting and the dogs (a black and yellow lab) had the screen open to go back and forth into the house. I walk in to Kirby barking and Boo running out the back. One of them (and we are not sure who!) had pulled the cake over to the edge of the table, carefully removed the foil which was laying on the floor, and had licked only the frosting off of a portion of the cake about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. I hate to admit that we cut that part out and have been continuing to eat the cake! Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
