Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park. Or another way to say that is Great Wolf Lodge is loud, dehydrating, overwhelming, unhealthy and tacky. Or wait, yet another way, Great Wolf Lodge is fun, fun, fun! Our family chose options A and C. We had our cousins Sandy and Tevi join us and had a great time.

This time the traffic was not a problem, 1.5 hours. (Once it took us three excruciating hours to get there.) It was not particularly crowded, so we could get to all the fun stuff fast. The kids tried out the new activity: a ropes course. We all did lots of slides, including the terrifying Howling Tornado. The restaurant had lots of gluten free food including fried calamari, which Rose tried. David stuck with hamburgers. And of course, there's all the wand quests. At one point, David took cousin Tevi (five) on a wand quest with him, so Sandy could do the slides and hot tub.

The other times we've gone, we've left before lunch the second day, but this time we stayed until 4:00. My legs are tired from climbing the slide stairs so many times, but I appreciated getting my full fill.
