Things I "forgot" yesterday:

If a sentence begins with, "I just", everything which follows is most likely bullshit.

Chain of command exists for several very good reasons.

My place and role in the scheme of things.

"Just do as I am told" means exactly that. It does not mean second guess the boss and go over his head because I want answers now, and/or I want to do things differently.

If I want autonomy and to be trusted to do things on my own, whilst still being part of a team, I have to earn it.

I won't earn it by disobeying direct orders.

It's not about me.

I am the boss of my slave and my dogs. No one else.

I am DEFINITELY not the boss of my partner/FC.

Do not reply to any request, order, or instruction from the person in charge with anything beginning with the word, "but".

No, really; Don't!

Never try to explain to the boss why it should be ok to do something right after being told to NOT do it.

Don't argue with the boss.

I always feel like crap after I step out of line, so the course of wisdom would be to stop doing it.
