I was reading this BBC News article recently. It reports a survey that says 33% of Americans have clicked on a link in a piece of sp*m, and 7% have actually bought something as a result of receiving sp*m. I've long said that the only way to ever stop sp*m is to make it a criminal offence to buy anything from a piece of sp*m. I guess there would be a lot of people in prison in my world.
