Apparently, I've hit a "soft patch" in my quarter. It's getting kind of ugly, in fact.

I'm in a bad way. I've made some questionable decisions. I've been a heartless, sociopathic bastard. I miss Fiancee (TM). I was late for class today. I haven't been published in 10 days. I haven't found an apartment in D.C., where I'm moving in THREE WEEKS. I haven't been eating well. I need to do the laundry.

Why does every quarter of my grad school year have to have a mud-bog fraught with deep, defined ruts into which I'll always steer into?

Dammit!

I've got two outstanding features (outstanding meaning both in-the-rotation and excellent), which may or may not be published sometime between now and 6 months from now... So, I'll let those be, for now. Remember The Law of Dickie.

Now, I'm really waiting for these last three weeks to melt away, leaving me to thaw back in Minneapolis with Fiancee (TM) for a week.
