I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

Sailing

Saturday took on a life of it's own. I didn't go to the convention, although I'm heading out to Pasadena to catch it today. I ended up haning out with Kenny. We had just started talking about coding when he got a call from another google person who offered to take us sailing.

I felt a little odd going to Marina Del Rey, for the purpose of actually getting on a boat, but that's what we did. We motored out of the marina, and then opened up the sails as we left the mouth of the marina. We sailed south and watched the sea lions sunning on some buoys. The whole experience was a little surreal. I actually learned how a sailboat works.

After the sailing there was gaming. More Settlers, and a fun little card game about dot coms burning money.

Ricky has been a good dog this weekend. I got a chance to talk for a while with Rob's neighbor, a nice lady.

Now I'm off to Pasadena.
