I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

House of Flying Daggers

I started the weekend off with a quick game of Go and a trip to the movies. It's been almost a month since I saw a movie in the theatre. House of Flying Daggers is sort of a kung fu Romeo and Juliet. There were flying daggers (go figure) and lots of bamboo and weather like we've been having here in LA...

I quite enjoyed the movie, although I'd recomend it as a date movie. I won the game of Go, although I lost 20 points I didn't need to in the last handful of stones played. I got a lot done at work today, although there always seems to be more to do.

Listening to Green Day:

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time.
Fate vs Free will... I keep running up against this...

The next song in my playlist: Standing from the Buffy Musical, which by an odd coincidence also involves flying knives...
