Dispatches from the City of Angels

I'm a mystery writer living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my short story, "Running Venice," in the new anthology LAndmarked for Murder. Look for it in bookstores and on Amazon.com now. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often.

We're Live!

After much planning and hand-wringing and software purchases, the new www.ahream.com website is up and running. There's stuff about the new book and stuff about the old book, contact information and plenty of other bits and baubles that will filter in as the aspirin kicks in and the facial tics stop.

This blog will continue to be published on Journalscape as well as on the website for the time being. (See facial tics and aspirin.) So feel free to read and comment in either place.

And let me know what you think of the site. I'm pretty pleased. Also in need of a nap.
