I arrived at the condo for my Thursday with the grand daughter. It was quite early, and she was still sleeping. I had 30 minutes before I heard her playing. When I opened the door, she looked stunned that it was me, and not her mother. Her jaw dropped, and tthen she looked up at me, and said, "Hi!" All I could do was laugh. If I had that kind of stuff in my pants, I would not have been nearly as happy as she was.

Her and I played, and ate, and played some more. She showed signs of sleepiness, so I fed her a bottle, and set her back in the crib. Not a peep out of her for 2 hours. Mike was off early, and heading home, so we all met and went shopping for a BBQ on the fourth. It is always good to see the baby interact with grandpa. He doesn't get enough of it, and loves dragging her around. She says "HI" to each and every person she comes across, and they all light up.

We met Alisha at the bank where she works, and transferred the kid, and carseat and stuff to her, and the two of us went to Panda Express for dinner. I love the string bean chicken! There was an accident in the parking lot as we were turning in. Guy in a Cobra thinks he owns the whole thing, while the guy in the SUV backed into him. If I was driving Cobra, I would be a bit more defensive than he was, and look out for potenials. Mike and I seemed to differ on opinions there, but we have learned to change the subject before we become agitated.

Tomorrow (3rd) is Mikes birthday. I am stuck working 7-3. We are all heading to the condo for dinner. We will then have a BBQ here on the fourth. If I don't use this silly pool this year...only one time last year for me, while the kids swam a lot. Mike has spent more money on upkeep than the whole darned thing cost in the first place. (it isn't much of a pool, but we don't have much need for one)
