Well, I'm back from my first live poker tournament...

There were about 100 people, maybe a little less...10 full tables to start the night.

I made it to the final table, came in 6th. I only played 8 hands the whole night. 3 stone bluffs, 1 semi-bluff, 2 AK, 1 pair of tens. And I was on the short stack going into the last table. Three people were knocked out the first hand, so it was down to 7. I was dealt queen/ten of spades. The blinds were going to eat me in two hands, so I went all in. Guy in front of me had a pair of tens and beat me (another guy also went all in, but had a worse hand then me...hence 6th).

It was fun...and hey, I won a T-shirt. Not quite ready to quit my day job, though.
