The AP reports that Iraqi forces may be close to capturing that terrorist asshole Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, on the heels of capturing three top-ranked people in his organization.

Let's hope it's true.

Meanwhile, it's often useful to actually listen to what these nutjobs are saying, and I liked this bit from their recent warning to Iraqis not to vote:

Despite Saleh's assurances, al-Zarqawi's group posted a new Web message Friday warning Iraqis that they could get hit by shelling or other attacks if they approach polling stations, which it called "the centers of atheism and of vice."

Sounds like my kind of place. I mean, I knew voting was fun, but they make it sound like an all-night sex club. Sweet.

And then there is the implacable logic of the terrorist mind:

"We have warned you, so don't blame us. You have only yourselves to blame," it said.

That's like walking into a Dairy Queen with a pistol and saying, "If you order ice cream, I will shoot you down. It won't be my fault, but yours, for I have warned you ahead of time. I will not be responsible. The blood will be on your hands, YOU GODLESS IMPERIALISTIC INFIDEL!!!"

Um...yeah.
