Remembering Christmas in February

Most of the headlines recalled Darren McGavin, who just passed away, for his role in Kolchak: the Nightstalker, but CNN at least remembered him as the grumpy father in one of the great films of all time -- A Christmas Story. Who can forget how he kept saying saying %##@*%#!! pretty much literally, or the immortal leg lamp? (I guess I negelected to mention the movie in my recent list because I generally try to put Christmas out of my mind during the few months of the year we're allowed to).

Among other favorites, perfomed by the floppy earred thespians are: Star Wars, Its a Wonderful Life, The Shining, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and everybody's favorite The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
