Hey all... This is my first entry since the end of May. I hope to get back in the old habit. Anyhow... Great Summer! Flagstaff did okay at Nationals coming in 35th out of 56 and I met lots of really cool eccentric people. Next year the shindig takes place in Sweet Home Chicago. I am about to head out to see Virgil Suarez read at UNLV and then go off to a benefit for the Shadetree Shelter at the Iowa Cafe where I am scheduled to read at 10 pm. For those curious, I am currently adjuncting at UNLV teaching four sections of 100 level composition. Also I will be making an appearance at a. Royal Albert Hall, London with Paul McCartney b. Bowery Poetry Club, New York opening for the Urbana Slam c. Clark County Superior Court for indecent exposure on January 9th, 2003 at 10:30 p.m. The correct answer is b. I am excited about that one, although the other two could have been cool... maybe not c. But I am excited at the opportunity to represent Las Vegas and Flagstaff in New York. Sayonara fer now! |
