Prerequisite: None. This course is designed to involve the student in understanding contemporary arts. It is a thematic-based interdisciplinary study of twentieth and twenty-first century literature, philosophy, and the visual arts. The course focuses on the theme The Shock of the New. Three lecture hours per week. (HF 903)
