Alexis park

I never had sex at Alexis park
Or had brunch or cocktails
Never set foot in the place
To be honest, which is all
Anyone can really ask of
An artist is pure honesty
But I have rode Pegasus
And shat the bull with
Socrates and have thumb wrestled
Ulysses, thy kingdom come
But don't worry
There is no truth
Only an inkling
Of something
In the murky nada
If you were to call
This poem the whip
I'd say you're inaccurate
This poem has nothing to do
With the whip
But if you tell me it is a metaphor
I'd ask for what? Life?
And you'd say, no
For Alexis park
I'd say you're on to something
And I'd seduce you
And we'd get a room at Alexis park.
