Much to everyone's relief, we got about 3 inches of rain, but it must have been pretty stormy on the bluff where winds tend to slam into homes. Where I live in the middle of the woods, storms are usually a cozy event in comparison. Anyway, furniture on their deck was tossed and shattered - yikes! My beloved Aunt drove down from Nashville and took me to lunch. We talk just about every day, but it had been a long while since we'd been together.
