2008-10-10 10:25 PM She's more than Chatter This is the caption I used for today’s 365 Envisage photo:
This photo was taken at St. Mary’s as we prepared for the retreatants to arrive. The cross I'm holding arrived in the mail today. It's a very, very special gift from two very, very special women I haven't met in person. Donna aka Chatter is someone I've developed a delightful Internet friendship over at Journalscape where we blog. She's an inspiration - always so gosh dern upbeat and full of gratitude... despite the fact her partner, the love of her life, Cathy, is very, very ill with cancer. These two amazing women thought of me when they saw this cross. *weep* Sometimes goodness comes flooding toward me when I need it the most and I am so grateful... so grateful... so grateful. If you wouldn't mind, please send healing thoughts their way. xoxo Reenie

One of many beautiful statues on the property at St. Mary’s ****************************************************************** I've decided to become quieter here. I know you all are tired of hearing it, but I have a beautiful life and I want to change some of my Internet activities to better serve the serenity that graces most of my life. Lately I've felt out of sync. I've lost my temper a few times. I need a break. I know of several of you who over time have dropped out for a respite and that's what I'm doing in a modified fashion. I'm going to continue to post here, but I'm going to greatly curtail reading and commenting. I've been aiming for that same *light* my buddy RT has so gloriously captured... Discernment seems key at the moment... choosing with greater discernment where I tread. xoxo P.S. Well, the universe is laughing its silly ass off at me at the moment. I begin my retreat, have a speedy lightening bolt revelation regarding Internet habits I need to change in order to have more serenity in my life, and I get home and I've discovered I've been bestowed several blogging awards. I feel like Sally Fields and her soppy acceptance speech of many years ago before most of you were born. :) I'm still in re-group mode here. I'll be more of a lurker than a participant. xoxo Read/Post Comments (17) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
