Reading other people's journals is interesting. I've become entranced with Journalscape's recent entries and randomly selecting posts to read to see what's going on in the lives of total strangers.

It's interesting to be allowed a view into other people's lives, even if a controlled one. It reminds me of so many commonalities between people, no matter their distance or circumstance.

Nanstress was turned down for a job, LitPunkNerd is vexed by hers, and Jeff Findel is looking for one. Lo may not know it, but underwire bras are weird for a lot of women, Derek James' "Thinking as a hobby" actually gives me something to think about (even if I don't discuss it with him), and without Kenny there'd be no Journalscape to read about any of these people.

I can only hope that those which need to can possibly take some solace in the posts of others, whatever way they can, and we can all benefit from this community of strangers.
