OK, so I've had a bit of time to assess the far, and all the life changing events that have taken place.

I've returned from around the globe, killed myself in the car, dedicated my life to more creativity, returned to drugs, been mortally backstabbed by friends, restarted long estranged relations with family, made an important career change, and discovered a rather major medical problem to deal with in the future.

And I've still got 3 months to go.

The interesting thing is that I'm handling all of this better than ever before. Not great, mind you, but better than before. Mostly because of the drugs, but I like to think a bit of that is from a better mental attitude. I'm working hard to be in a better place at all times, and it's working. A bit.

If the end of the year holds as my traditionally most dramatic time of life, I can't imagine what's in store for me next. I'm guessing zombies. Or I suppose I still have time for my first felony. Zombies are more likely however.

And yes, I know October is late for a halftime report on the year, but it just shows you what kind of life I lead.
