In the last elections, the percentage of voters out of the total voting age population has slipped below 50% in the US, which is 15-30% less than most of the industrialized nations of the world.

With people dying in the quest for democracy across the globe, it's shameful that we have squandered our opportunity, and really responsibility, to vote and take an active part in our government.

Maybe we really deserve horrible, horrible leaders, and could use a couple of decades under a tyrrany to teach us a few lessons about freedom and appreciating it.

If you're not getting informed on issues and voting, shut your pie hole and don't complain about the world you live in.
