Being the subject of jealousy is a lot like being accused of witchcraft.

How do you prove that there's nothing actually there to support the accusation?

When someone's paranoia, or guilt, or whatever, makes them seen something in you that's just not there, it's impossible to dissuade them. I'm tired of capitulating and trying to smooth things over with people by saying I'm sorry for possibly doing something that might make them jealous. But I do try to make the people around me not think too ill of me.

It makes me tired. Sometimes you just can't win.
