When last we left the intrepid blogger, he was helping a friend learn how to drive, and things were going quite well.

In fact, they still are. It's been nice to just talk while driving, whether it be about work or movies, or just whatever silliness comes up, and just be unguarded with a friend for a while.

I guess it's been too long since feeling that way, and I had forgotten what that's like.

They keep thinking it's some sort of favor I'm doing that need some repayment, but really the favor is for me. I get to relax and be chatty, which isn't a common thing, and all I have to do is show up for lunch with a car. I am certainly getting the best of the deal.

As I get older, I certianly don't make friends as easily, as I might have mentioned a billion times. So each one becomes more valuable and important to me.

So as long as I don't get all obsessive and crazy, I will hopefully have a long-lasting friendship.

Certainly worth the price of a bit of gas every once in a while.
