Sometimes you have to tell people the truth, even if it'll make you look stupid, foolish or just plain crazy.

If you really think it can help someone else, it doesn't really matter how idiotic you'll be thought of as.

Especially if you care about the person, it shouldn't be about you; it should be about helping them. And while a lie occasionally is needed to smooth things, really, the truth, even if personally embarassing, is the best way to go.

If as a result of my ineptness someone else can live a better life, at least someone will benefit. I guess that's why I need to be truthful sometimes.
