The trouble with most "porn" is that it doesn't seem to have been made by anyone who really has a love for the human body. Or sex. Or possibly even a love for people at all.

It's turned the body and it's functions into crude, artless stupidity really.

Excluding things which are just technically poorly done, which immediately cuts out 80% of the genre, it really feels like most sexual "art", photos and the like are done by people who don't love their subjects.

For me, it conjures every sterotype of a dirty old man, with a camera just snapping away as some people pound away in a poorly lit, dirty basement.

Even most fetish art is really soulless. It's amazing that a real art or craft to the pictures are so few and far in between. I'm sure there are plenty of people acting out their passive-agressive issues, but without an appreciation of the human body, what's the point.

If you've got some "strange" thing that turns you on, fine. If you feel compelled to make art of it, shouldn't you really love it enough to try and make it good?

And if you're so much into sex so much you want to take pictures of it, shouldn't you be intrigued enough to do something interesting, or at least, technically competent.

I just get the feeling that most of this stuff is produced by people who hate people.

Sturgeon's law was right. Even with the weirdest of subjects.
