I'm in a pretty fantastic mood, oddly enough.

Worked another Saturday, but the weather was good, and I spent all the rest of the weekend I good outside enjoying things. Also made it to some good restaurants, and watched some good DVDs.

But what really made it great was the opportunity to score some orchestra tickets for a friend of mine. Her mom is in town, seeing her for the first time here, and the first time in a few years thanks to working overseas. They were able to go to our new concert hall, and she said they both, really, really enjoyed it.

I'm so tickled to be able to do that, and even more happy that it worked out well, and that they enjoyed it so much.

This is what working Saturdays and long hours are for; to be able to help loved ones out and make things better for them.

So I can be tired and coughing for no good reason all week, and not getting good sleep. And still working long hours. But still be in a good...no, great mood.

I've really got to work on keeping that good feeling going through more actions.
