This morning, after sleeping in, I get up to be told, "I found where the bird went."

I'm thinking, "Great, now I get to clean up a dead bird," but instead she says, "He was walking in the front room, and now is in the Kitchen."

And there he was, watching us watch him.

Still having no urge to fly, or else his wings had been clipped; no real way to tell without catching him, and we didn't want to risk injury.

We put some bread and water out on our porch, and opened the door, and eventually he walked out and drank some water. He then walked into our back yard and started chirping with the other birds.

I had to go out and get some stuff done, and when I got back, I couldn't hear him in the backyard, so he may have walked back into the house somewhere, or is sleeping outside. We'll see
