From AOL-AP polls:

Less than half of people over 12 (47%) knew that you could download a full movie off the internet.

So, the MPAA's trailer warnings about downloading are an informational campaign then? Something to inform the other half?

73% say they'd rather watch a movie at home, but people who watch DVDs, download stuff off the internet and watch pay-per-view are more likely to go to the theater than those who don't.

So, trying to punish the people who are rapidly becoming your only customers, as movie attendence slides, with stupid region encoding on DVDs, digital broadcast flags and other restrictive use technology is a good thing?

47% say movies are getting worse.

Maybe that, and the ever increasing ticket price, have more to do with what's becoming the worst box-office season in 10 years, rather than fears that everyone is stealing movies off the internet.
