I drive by a set of the wreckage of the World Trade Center for a 9/11 movie every night.

I can see the top of the faux walls illuminated by giant movie spotlights, often in a thick fog.

It's incredibly surreal to see this entirely out of context, in both time and location.

The last thing I really want to see is a drama based on those events, especially as the the real thing is so fresh in my mind, and seeing the sets really cements my disinterest in such a project.

In general, a dramatic movie on historical events really just makes me want to see a documentary on on the real thing, but in this case, even if I wasn't near there, I feel like I lived it.

I certainly am living in the aftermath of it.

And I don't need to drive by and see a make believe version of it.
