just stab me now

Okay, this is a writer whining post. For those of you who have children (and thus get your daily quotient of whine already) you may want to skip this.

On Tuesday I got two rejections for stories. That's okay, I can handle that. One rejection doesn't even faze me anymore, I just send it on back out to the next market on the list.

However, stupidly, I sent those two stories out to very quick markets. They both came back on Wednesday as rejections, and again, I sent them back out. But then two more stories I'd been waiting on for months were rejected by other markets all within one hour.

So there I was, whimpering on the floor, having a total of six rejections in 24 hours.

More than three rejections a day is not recommended for the health of your ego.
