seen at Uwajimaya...

The label on a horn-shaped bread filled with chocolate:

"Crone Chocolate"

I was all laughing in the aisle. I thought that coming to Portland meant I was depriving myself of amusing mangled English anecdotes. Guess I was wrong.

Naoto explained that those bread are called "corone choco" in Japanese. I am assuming that "corone" is some japanization of a spanish or french word for "coronet" or horn-shaped thing.

Anyway, the images called up by "crone chocolate" are amusing me all day today.
