I love being rejected by Clarkesworld. Other authors have expressed dissatisfaction with how that editor replies to submissions (let's just say he is very very honest) but I always take heart in the fact that he seemed to finish the story and always has very good ideas for how to make the story better.

I just wish I could submit and get his feedback before I actually submitted to him, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I haven't had short story responses for months and months, so it was nice to get something in the email today.
