On girl2's preschool debut

My little silly lilly, girl2, is starting preschool today.

And, it won't be as traumatic as when girl1 started Japanese preschool in Tokyo, with the crying and being held back by teachers, I am sure.

And, yes, she knows at least half the class already because she spent two years going with me to pickup and drop off girl1.

And the main teacher, Sachi-sensei, has interacted with girl2 many times both at school and during girl1's piano lessons at her house.

And girl2 has this power to charm people. I've seen her do it to adults, grandmas, teen boys, and little girls. She can literally play with anyone in an energetic, enthusiastic and genuinely open manner.

And it's not that much time, just three days a week for three and a half hours.

So can anyone tell me why, despite all this, I felt like crying in my shower this morning?
