Ideas

Not that anyone asks ME about where I get my ideas, because I'm not like, you know, famous, but the question does get asked alot.

Many of my stories are a result of the intersection of a song I can't get out of my head with some event that happened in my life.

I just finished writing a short story that is the intersection of Hijo de la luna with Breathe .

That is, the story is those two songs and a walk I took early in the morning last spring.

So said story was being critiqued by the Welorians, my face-to-face writing group, last night, and it was remarked upon that I often have my heroines falling on their butts in the muck.

And I thought about it, and yep, they do tend to be a tad tipsy. I guess that's the part that's autobiographical.
