Book Review: MockingBird (YA) *****

MockingBird starts with the wry and questing voice of Caitlin, an eleven year old girl trying to figure out how to deal with the expectations of the people around her.

Only for her, it truly is a mystery why her father keeps her brother's door closed all the time and the girls at school giggle when she tries to sit down next to them at lunch. Ms Brooks, her counselor is constantly trying to get her to look at people's eyes and stop sucking on her sleeve, and all Caitlin wants to do is draw and hide in her brother's room.

This Book's Food Designation Rating: A delicious pizza you can't resist sinking your teeth into, loaded with veggie toppings that satisfy your soul as well as being good for your body.
