I'm often hesitant to speak about religious beliefs (though I self-identify as Lutheran) But you can boil my theology down to a conversation I once had about religion with my dad. I asked him what he believed about god. He said "God is Love."
That sounded good to me.
Gungor sings it pretty well, too (how God loves even Pat Robertson and Lesbians) with felt animation!
