Father of twins and novelist/filmmaker/musician
People complain about musicals.
Nobody just stops in the street
I say you know the wrong people.

2003-08-05 11:31 AM Oh yeah, almost forgot... Screenplay draft 2 of (as far as I know) the first screen musical with a maguffin is finished. It went off yesterday, along with my preliminary director's notes, to someone who may be able to help it along the way to production (the motivation behind my deadline).
Of course, I found the typos after that, and there's one (new, necessary, but as-yet-unreworked) scene that my wife didn't get. But it's funny, it's touching, it's solid, it's complicated, and Act III goes like a bullet. A third draft to fix a few weaknesses in the new characters, and it's probably finished. Not sure yet whether I'm going to write that or something else while we're on vacation. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
