People complain about musicals.
They say:

Nobody just stops in the street
and breaks into song.

I say you know the wrong people.

A mood

Jon Hassell's Fascinoma on iTunes. The old cat lies near the laptop, on the bed. He knows I'm coming back when I leave to get each item. The packing list is onscreen. After all these trips, it's finished. Nothing's missing. I won't realize I forgot deodorant on Saturday.

The wife's in the living room, watching ER. She's an organized wife; her things are in a correctly-sized bag. The friend is in the bedroom that used to be my studio before the laptop replaced it. He'll watch the cat.

Have a slow, relaxing weekend. See you next week.
