The Ikea rush is over
Today it's down to 38 hits/hour. Sunday was the peak day, averaging about 300 hits/hour, for a day's total of somewhere around 7,100. It dropped to about a third of that on Monday. At least one of the major portals put up new links on Monday morning and Guy writes letter to Ikea dropped down to the "old links" section. Out of sight, out of mind.
Of course, this comes after I upgraded my counter to the $9.99/month version to increase my daily quota to 10,000 hits. (Sunday I received an over-quota notice.)
Total hits to the Ikea letter over 5 days: About 13,000
Total clickthroughs to THE NIGHT MEN at Amazon: 87
Amazon ranking: Is lower than when we started
