People complain about musicals.
They say:

Nobody just stops in the street
and breaks into song.

I say you know the wrong people.

I Love You, I'm Sorry, and I'll Never Do It Again

No, that's not a reference to my last post. It's the title of our next musical short film.

I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY, AND I'LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN is a musical number from CUPID & PSYCHE, the feature-length screen musical I've been working on for the last few years. I wrote a self-contained story for it; the finished short will run about the same length as CREDO (somewhere around 9 minutes), but the cast is bigger, the camera work is more involved, the music is 21st-century industrial jazz-thrash, and there are thugs with guns in it.

Does anyone know (or is anyone) a lawyer who can help me word a "looking for investors" plea in such a way as not to run afoul of the SEC? Short film development budgets are limited (like, they don't exist); so this person needs to be willing to work for a signed first edition of THE NIGHT MEN and a DVD of CREDO.

To be clear: This post does not constitute a call for investors. It's the first of many posts looking for people to contribute expertise. I'll also be looking for a DP, First AD, and so on. Stay tuned.

We will shoot this year.

Thanks!
