Weekends are for relaxing

The second child trailer for my bicycle is much better made than the one I had trouble with previously. I was happy. The thing that couples it to the bike is not compatible with my bike. There are now two unusable child bike trailers clogging up this little New York apartment.

While writing to Instep about their coupler, my laptop crashed.

This was accompanied by sound effects: Cat throwing up.

While walking back to the kitchen with paper towels full of cat vomit, I stepped in cat shit.

Correctly identifying imminent husband implosion, Kathleen kicked me out to go work.

First I had to clean cat shit out of my sandal sole.

At Starbucks, I found I'd left my power cord home. Couldn't do any real work.

Played with Treo while walking home. Treo crashed.

Kathleen took the boys out so I could get some work done.

She left a little scented candle burning in the bedroom. I took this as it was intended. Made a little progress on the pre-visualization video.

Fed, bathed, entertained, and bedtimed babies.

Implemented new "Wait 5 minutes before feeding them when they cry" plan at 12:12 AM and 12:33 AM. In both cases, crying stopped in 2 minutes. No feedings necessary.

As of 12:53 AM, my big decision is whether to write the 67 words that'll get me to the 10K mark on this novel, or save it so I have something to look forward to tomorrow.

Have decided to save it.

Baby care shift ends at 3AM. Attempting ZZZs early.

Another average weekend.

Night.
