The road trip to West Chester was great. Travel in a downpour, hotel screwing up our reservations, technical problems at our screening--everything as expected, and we had a blast.

Mac stood by himself for a few seconds yesterday, not holding on to anything. Butchie's bedtime got happier (Daddy figured out what he was doing that caused conflict).

The West Chester Best Experimental/Art award went to a film I'm sorry I didn't get to see. We still get to brag that we were a FINALIST, BEST EXPERIMENTAL/ART FILM, WEST CHESTER FILM FESTIVAL.

The most excellent of cats died this morning in my arms. He was 17.

Onward, more fiercely, more sadly.
