Father of twins and novelist/filmmaker/musician
People complain about musicals.
Nobody just stops in the street
I say you know the wrong people.

2006-01-31 3:06 PM ILY minus 14 days and counting I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY, AND I'LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN, currently in pre-production. I'm logged on from a Starbucks near Grand Central. This is my default meeting place; even if somebody doesn't live nearby, they can get here easily. I'm meeting the new choreographer at 4:00. Then I've got a phone call with the new production coordinator. Then I was hoping to have a meeting with the actor I'd like to cast as Eddie, but he's on a shoot during all the evenings this week, so we will probably meet on Friday afternoon. ![]() That's a JPEG I sent the DP and costumer/prop guy today. I know we can accomplish exactly what I want in the "reality" portion of the story, which takes place on the shop floor and in the office. The fantasy vignettes are where I expect to compromise, for budget reasons. The audio guy who did CREDO has apparently left the planet, and the art director I thought I was going to hire on Friday flaked. I'm currently one audio guy, one art director, and one lead actor away from being essentially crewed up and cast. After that, I need two PAs and I'm done. We're shooting between the night of the 17th and the morning of the 21st, mostly overnight shoots. If you're in the New York area, interested in being a PA (qualification: you know what one is), and can commit absolutely, drop me a line.
