2006-02-18 4:07 PM ILY plus 2 days and counting First shot of the movie. Gorgeous wide noir shot, long shadows, streetlight coming in through the open factory bay door.
![]() Eddie, you'll enter camera left, walk into the factory this way, exit camera right. Thugs, you'll wait a beat, amble in behind him, stop just inside the bay doors, case the joint. Gorgeous. Amazing. Did you see those cigarette glows? Fantast-- What's that? Is that a car? Did somebody park... There's the butt end of a car in our shot. Whose car is that? We're running behind. Can we move that car? HEY! FIND OUT WHOSE-- Hold on-- Eddie, there's a car in the shot and we can't move it. It's your car, you're entering camera right. WE'RE GOOD! DON'T MOVE THE CAR! Roll camera.
