My poem has been at Strange Horizons for 14 days, and 41 days at Asimov's for my story. Hey look, symmetry.

Man, I really need to submit more, so I don't get this obsessed over waiting for each response. Perhaps I'm kidding myself to think I'd be more patient with more stories out at once. At least I wouldn't have to wait as long between responses.

The dilemma is that the longer you wait for a response, the better your chances. (Discounting lost manuscripts and markets with absurdly long response times.)

So I'm impatient, but every silent day is a good thing. Probably.
