In light of recent posts about Pixar and Disney parting ways, I stumbled upon this website www.savedisney.com that is run by Roy Disney (Walt's nephew) and some other former Disney employees. Walt Disney was for a long time in charge of Disney's animation department. While there, he tried and tried to return Disney from it's corporate based, money first, commodity meets animation studio into a ground breaking, revolutionary animation studio that Disney was at one time. It's kind of a dry website and is mainly geared towards Disney stockholders. But it's interesting nonetheless. Disney always puts out such a clean cut, our shit don't stink type of atmosphere that it's interesting to see that not all is right in Mouseville. And now they've lost Pixar. I hope that they're able to get back to being the great movie studio that they were in the past.
