NBA referees SUCK!

NBA has the worst officiating of any sport. At least football has a reviewing system in place to cut down on their bad calls. If I were a Cavaliers fan, I'd be livid over last night's no call(s). By my count Rip Hamilton fouled Lebron James not once or twice, but on three occasions on the last play alone.

The unspoken rule of NBA officiating is that you let the players "play" in the final moments and don't decide the game with fouls, so I can understand letting some ticky-tack calls go un-whistled. But you *have* to call a foul when someone is mugged going to the basket, plain and simple.

The problem with NBA officiating is that a) the game moves way too fast for three people to effectively see all that's going on b) there is way too much room for interpretation and c) consistency.

People say Duncan complains a lot, and he does, but I honestly feel that 9 times out of 10, dominant low post players have legitimite gripes when they complain of non-calls and would bet they have the bruises to prove it.

I don't pretend to have a fix for the NBA, but when I can tell from my television or from the top row of the AT&T Center that a non-called foul takes place, then the NBA referees should be able to do the same.
